My name is Katelyn, and I’m a designer working out of Reno, NV. I seek to provide a welcoming and affordable environment for anyone seeking alternative fashion, cosplay, or accessories on a limited budget.
My store is officially open and ready for business! Please feel free to check it out, order anything you like, and most of all- spread the word!!
Just in time for Easter, the Spring Festivities skirt is now available to order! This skirt is perfect for spring, with its pastel color scheme and white lace overlay with scalloped hem; the print showcases a variety of chicks and rabbits enjoying Easter celebrations.
Ready made (1 available): $50 plus shipping
Custom order: $65 plus shipping
There is one currently ready-made and available for sale at $15 cheaper than a custom order! It has a full elastic waistband and will comfortably fit most people with a measurement between 24”-40” at either the natural waist or slightly higher. This skirt is designed to sit above the natural waist and is cut longer to accommodate for this- for taller lolitas, this skirt can be worn at the natural waist.
The front bow is irremovable on the ready-made skirt, but can be made removable upon custom order.
Custom ordered skirts will have a half elastic waistband and will be made to fit your measurements with 2-5” of leeway!
Message me for more information/to place an order.
Help me? :)
I’m looking at potentially renaming what I’ve got going as my business right now. Currently my sideblog for it is named ‘KarmaKatelyn’, which is a long standing name I’ve liked and debated on using for many entrepreneurial ideas, however! Because of my leanings towards lolita and in general cuter/more elegant designs, I’m thinking of renaming it.
I have a few ideas in mind, so I’d like some help choosing what to name my storenvy!
- Dreaming of Katherine (similar to my name, but there’s already a lolita brand called Dream of Lolita, so I don’t want anything too similar, y’know?)
- Moon Mirror (kinda iffy on this one- i like the ‘moon’ element, but idk if it works in this)
- KarmaKatelyn Designs (my current name)
- Rococo Dreams (i really like the dream theme ok)
What’re your thoughts?
Please help me out with some input! Once my store officially opens up on storenvy, I may end up renaming it and you can help me choose the new name!
Details of Versailles, by KarmaKatelyn Designs.
Please ignore the messy background- my sewing area needs to be tidied up!
This dress has a total of five bows (three down the bodice, two at the bottom of the two lines of cinching down the front, one large one in the back), several tiers of ruffles in the ivory underskirt, a nice ivory trim, and a pearl detail on the bodice.
Design available for commission.
Main post about the design here.
Versailles,by KarmaKatelyn Designs.
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, meet my new JSK design! Inspired by the rococo fashions of Marie Antoinette’s court in the late 18th century, this JSK pulls out all the stops- ruffled tiered underskirt, pearls, a cinched front panel and six bows in total. It closes with a hidden side zipper and is very heavy- it’s over two petticoats in this picture, but probably needs a third to make it hold it’s shape properly!
Design available for commission, fabric choice may vary.
Detail post here.
A new JSK design will be up and posted soon! Putting the final touches on it tonight, and pictures probably tomorrow morning :) Keep your eyes peeled!
Examples of the Merlinflower crown design worn by Kate, as an example of what it would look like on someone’s head.
delphinium- open heart & ardent attachment ; fern- magic, secrecy, secret bond of love
Introducing a new flowercrown design… the Merlin!
Crafted with blue delphinium flowers, some complimentary yellow seed branches, and a mix of natural green and artificially colored silver and gold fern leaves, this design was created in homage to the lead character from the BBC show Merlin.
Available for custom order.
